SELF does not require proof of vaccination. We ask every attendee to make health-conscious choices that help protect the wider community.
When to stay home
If you are ill, we encourage you not to attend the event. “Ill” includes symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, body aches, or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Even if you do not feel sick enough to stay home, we encourage you to do so if you are experiencing any of these symptoms. If you choose to attend while experiencing symptoms, you are strongly encouraged to wear personal protective equipment. See Mask Wearing below.
COVID-19 guidance
Isolation window
Please stay home and avoid attending the event until you have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and your symptoms are improving.
Positive test guidance
If you test positive shortly before or during the event and cannot attend, email Jack with a timestamped photo or screenshot of your positive test. We will compare the test timestamp with your registration and event dates.
Refund or exchange
With a verified positive test submitted as described above, SELF will transfer your package to the following year’s event. This accommodation applies only to verified positive COVID-19 tests submitted to Jack with a timestamped image.
Mask wearing
SELF does not require masks. Attendees are encouraged to wear personal protective equipment to help protect themselves and others, including when attending with any symptoms described above.
