Make Something People Will Talk About
Host a party, game, meetup, gathering, or creative experience—and give people another way to find one another at SELF.
Some of the most memorable parts of SELF are created by people who decide to bring others together. Individuals, clubs, organizations, families, packs, and special-interest groups can propose a party, meetup, game, gathering, creative activity, or social experience.
A host creates something participatory rather than a class: an experience where people can connect, play, make, talk, celebrate, or simply have a good time together.
What Could You Host?
What SELF Hosts Do
- Bring an engaging idea that gets people together.
- Create a fun, exciting, welcoming, and participatory experience.
- Showcase a club, group, family, pack, SIG, or community.
- Plan the activity, atmosphere, and decorations.
- Propose snacks, cocktails, or mocktails when appropriate.
- Offer an imaginative way to celebrate or connect.
- Consider a fundraiser supporting SELF titleholders, charities, or scholarships.
- Communicate clearly with SELF while the event is being planned.
Past ideas have included: Canvas & Cocktails, Cards Against Humanity, Singles Mingle, Littles Day Camp, cocktail parties, the Latex Rain Party, caucuses, themed breakfasts, and foot parties. These are examples—not limits.
Depending on the scope, cost, duration, and attendee experience of an approved proposal, hosts may qualify for discounted or complimentary SELF packages. Bring us an idea people will remember.
