dave - Emcee

dave is a 53-year-old, single, cisgendered, gay male from North Carolina. Although single, dave is collared to Sir Rai Guerra from Asbury Park, NJ and is in a unique dynamic with Nick from the Atlanta, GA. dave has been active in the leather/kink/bdsm community since the Fall of 2001. dave started his leather journey, like most gay men, by walking into a gay leather bar, the Charlotte Eagle. Ironically, his first leather mentors were one of the bar’s bartenders and a very short heterosexual slave, known as slavette. slavette and her Master, Master Scott, took boy dave under their wing and introduced him into the leather lifestyle/kink/bdsm world by having him join them at leather conferences and private leather/bdsm events across the country. dave’s first leather conference was SELF, 2003. dave’s first bdsm play experiences were in play spaces occupied by heterosexual men and women; here, he learned about play that was not attached to sexual pleasure…. that came later when he began to venture into the gay-male leather world. his leather journey has been vast and colorful to say the least.

dave’s focus is on service, but do not let that fool you as he is also a very piggy kinky leather man. dave’s interests include Boots, cigars, jock straps, impact play, mind fucks, biting, ass play, along with others…. he is VERY open minded. dave has served as presenter, judge, judges’ boy/slave/person, contestant coordinator/den daddy, contestant handler, and contestant coach for multiple conferences, contests, and contestants. dave is a Full Member of The Charlotte Tradesmen, Charlotte NC’s local leather/Levi club. He has served on the board for the Leather History Preservation Foundation, Together in Leather (early 2000s), The Leather History Conference, and Southeast Leatherfest.

As noted earlier, dave is well versed in the leather title circuit. he has competed on the local, state, regional, national and international leather contest stages. he has also coached or handled contestants at the regional, national, and international level. dave holds the leather titles of Southeast Leatherboy 2004, Southeast Bootblack 2011, and American Leatherboy 2014.

JUDGES

Master Velvet - Head Judge

While some may ask, "who is Master Velvet?", those in the know understand that the better question is "what is Master Velvet?" She is a force of nature: the energy of a tornado in a small package, gliding through the world with grace and dignity, spreading her message of positivity, acceptance, and inclusion throughout all of our spaces and events. She is a Leatherwoman with a taste for sharp, pointy things and deep conversations. Curiosity delights her and others’ contributions excite her, but seeing those around her soar really sends her to the moon. Honored to serve as the International Person of Leather 2025, Master Velvet also serves as the founder and leader of the Leftorium Forum and is a mentor and admin of the Dallas Mentors Program. With a passion for sharing her knowledge with others, she believes in addressing the needs of the whole self and not just one’s kinky desires. Four years ago, she proudly accepted her feisty and incorrigible (yet devoted) slave Todd into her service, and he is still finding ways to make her giggle every day. Phobos Onyx - Judge

Phobos is born to lead. With a military and correctional background, he’s a strong believer in taking responsibility. Born and raised in Chicago, he became a part of Leather and Kink through ONYX Midwest. He’s held the title of Leatherman of Color (2023) and lead online discussions about sexual health, offering free at-home STI testing kits. Phobos looks forward to his favorite hankies Magenta and White, and sharpening his skills in creating MEDIA that expresses KINK and FETISH through DANCE.

master Slave Jenna - Judge

master Slave Jenna has been volunteering her time and knowledge in the kink and leather community since 2005. She has given her time to MTTA, the Master/slave Conference (MsC), the Baltimore Educational and Social Society, Queer Leather Alliance, the Baltimore Playhouse, Black Rose, The Crucible, and volunteered at many different events around the region. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Playhouse and on the Board for MTTA, Inc. She is the current Executive Producer for MsC. master Slave Jenna is also the founder of MAsT Towson, is the Bookkeeper for MTTA, and the Deputy Director for MTTA Academy. In 2013, she was honored to receive the Sir Steve Community Service award at the Master/slave Conference. master Slave Jenna is Owned and the problem of Master Robert of Baltimore.

Master Trent - Judge

Master Trent (he/him) joined his first BDSM/Leather group in 1983, though he had been practicing kinky sex for about 10 years before.  In 1998 he opened a "brick and mortar" BDSM Dungeon club in Denver that he operated for six years.  He has been active in many clubs and organizations throughout Colorado and the region, including Thunder in the Mountains, NLA, MAsT, Voodoo Leather, the Denver Sancturary and the Denver Boys of Leather.  He has passionately been hosting and facilitating High Protocol and a variety of Master/slave classes and events since 1999.  After competing in the Southwest Leather Conference Master/slave contest in 2011, he and slave kelly founded the Colorado Master/slave contest in 2012 which served as a State feeder to SWLC. They passed the ownership off in 2019 and in 2023 started producing the Southwest Master/slave Contest and Leather Run weekend.   He has judged and served as a head judge for several Leather and Master slave contests, including International M/s. Master Trent is a retired Realtor and Human Resource professional. He is also a Fakir trained body piercer and produces flesh hook pull and hook suspension events. He collared slave kelly in 2008, and they live in Colorado Springs in a full-time relationship with a blend of Master/slave and Daddy/boy dynamics.

Madam Brianna Bunni Akanke - Judge

Brianna Bunni is a Co- Head of Household for House Akanke (UH-CON-KAY), Covered Leather girl, POC Queer, Fem, Leather Switch flagging black, grey, fuschia and red on both sides and purple on the right side! She is the first Person of Color to hold the Title of Ms Route 66 Leather 2024 and she is Ms Atlanta Eagle 2022 ! Her mission is to be a part of the representation, education, and empowerment of QTBIPOC individuals within the Leather and Kink communities because visibility is important!

Stephan- Surprise Judge

Stephan is a Boston and New England–based educator, community leader, and cultural preservationist within the Leather and kink communities. Grounded in lived experience and shaped by years of active participation, his work focuses on intentional power exchange, structured service, and the practical realities of building sustainable authority-based relationships. As an educator, Stephan has developed and taught classes exploring power dynamics in service, formal protocol in high-structure relationships, rules and rituals within power exchange, polyamory and its intersection with BDSM, and the nuances of 24/7 dynamics. His teaching style blends history, personal insight, and actionable frameworks, encouraging participants to think critically about communication, accountability, and leadership. He is particularly interested in how dynamics function in day-to-day life—beyond scenes and titles—and how partners create systems that support growth, stability, and mutual responsibility. Stephan is also a Griot for the Carter/Johnson Library & Collection Boston Annex, where he contributes to preserving and sharing Leather history. In this role, he supports the stewardship of community stories, cultural artifacts, and intergenerational knowledge, helping ensure that emerging leaders understand the traditions and struggles that shaped today’s landscape. Across his work, Stephan centers service, intentional leadership, and cultural literacy. He believes that strong dynamics are built through clarity, structure, and honest communication—and that honoring Leather history strengthens the future of the community.

TECHNICAL BOOTBLACK JUDGES

Innocent - Technical Bootblack Judge

A'ho, I am Innocent (she/they), currently living in West Sacramento. I'm an Indigenous bootblack. And a dragon, raar. Introduced to the craft of bootblacking by my first Sir, Linda, a US soldier, I've spent over 20 years honing my skills, finding joy in every shine, repair, and embellishment. I’ve presented at Northwest Leather Celebration, SouthPlains Leather Fest, The Exiles SF, Leather girls of Color, and was a part of the BootBlack Academy 101 team at SouthEast LeatherFest 2025. My journey has inspired a passion for uplifting voices often overlooked, particularly among Indigenous peoples in kink and Leather communities. My drive is to advocate for more bootblack representation for trans siblings, women/femme bootblacks, and BIPOC bootblacks, fostering inclusivity at all levels. Shine On! Willie Tradesmen - Technical Bootblack Judge

Willie (he/him/Daddy) is a Switch based in the Carolinas with a passion for all things Leather and Kink. His leather journey spans over seven years, establishing a strong brand and presence online, in his local community, and beyond. His journey is noted by key milestones and experiences such as, earning the titles of Tradesmen of The Year (2020-2021), Mr. North Carolina Triangle Leather (2022), and representing the North Carolina Triangle community on the world stage at International Mr. Leather 45. Willie is a proven servant leader, taking on a range of roles such as Tally Master for Maryland Leather and serving as judge for the North Carolina Bootblack, Connecticut Leather, North Carolina and South Carolina Leather Contests. Willie currently serves as Vice President and Marketing & Communications Officer for The Tradesmen Leather Levis club and is a founding member of BLUF (Breeches and Leather Uniform Fanclub) Charlotte, a chapter of the international BLUF organization. His focus is driving representation and visibility everywhere it matters, and doing the work that builds community and keeps it open and safe for generations to come; regardless of old or new guard affiliation, gender identity, body, race, ethnicity, creed, etc.

Chrissie and Melissa - Tally Goddesses

Chrissie and Melissa met about 100 years ago, or last week, depending on the day. Friends from the initial meet, Kinky from the start; so when Frolicon devoloped in 2005, they expanded from their local community to the big leagues.

Chrissie has been with Frolicon since the beginning. Melissa stopped and started again. They are better together, at least most of the time! They love to shop for fun, travel luxuriously, and interact with like-minded people. That's why they have been the TallyMistresses for SELF for over a decade- because we like you. We really do.

slave Megan - Den Mafia

slave Megan is a pansexual, polyamorous, permanently collared slave to Master Robert of Thumper’s Keep.

As an active member in the Virginia Hampton Roads community, she has been the president of several clubs including the Virginia Beach TNG chapter (2005) and Old Dominion girls of Leather (2017 -2019). She is an MTTA alumni, Carter-Johnson Leather Library assistant, and assistant librarian to the Hampton Roads Annex. Passionately volunteers with the Leather History Preservation Weekend and co- coordinator volunteer for the Master/slave Conference. Presented at local MaST chapters, the Master slave Conference, as well as local parties and events. I am currently serving on the MTTA Board (2024 - present). In 2023 I was awarded the slave steve community service award during the MsC event. I am the inaugural 2024 Ms. Virgina Leather where I attended over twenty events representing Virginia Leather and advocating for the rights and needs of the leather and alternative lifestyle communities.

In everyday life, I work as a registered nurse in the hospital setting, where I help educate fellow medical professionals about the alternative lifestyle communities. I also work with the Nurses honor guard, an organization that honors fallen nurses by giving them one last acknowledgement of their sacrifices during their nursing career.

Thumper - Den Mafia

Master Robert a.k.a. Thumper, is the head of Thumper’s Keep Leather family. He received His leather boots in July 2018, a parting gift from Lady Lynette. His leather journey has been much longer, leading to be a local educator, party host, Master slave Conference educator, founder of the Cavaliers Leather and Levi Club and an MTTA alumni. Master Robert loves spending time with his family, making BDSM furniture which he has done for over a decade, and attending Viking reenactments with his raiding party the New Vinelands.

Twilight Onyx - Judge Liaison

I'm Kennon Harmon Born and raised in a small town in South Carolina. I have deep southern roots a true country boy off the farm with a heart of gold. I'm 47 Born July 11th 1978. I moved to Atlanta I'm 2008 and let go a lot of my country ways of thinking and developed the man I am today. I join the organization Onyx in 2018 became a boy to Daddy Deboy, learned a lot did a lot of growing. I’m now currently the Onyx SE Pledgemaster the last 3 years. I'm looking forward to seeing what's to come.
