Lady Catherine: Producer
Lady Catherine (she/her), affectionately known as SELF Spackle, is an educator and Master Certified Life Coach, a Certified Mentor Coach (CMC), and a Board Certified Coach (BCC). I teach classes that focus on relationships, play-oriented SM skills, Dominance and Submission, improving your sex life, gender, house management, personal foundations, leadership, activism and theory.
I have been active in various communities for decades. I have served on local and national boards, judged contests, staffed conferences, emceed and produced fund-raisers for various charities/organizations.
I love my volunteer work for SELF. It feeds me by the happiness created on the smiling faces who attend. I am a proud Board member of the Leather Archives and Museum. I have held memberships in FIST, MOB, LSM, NLA-I, BbD, Low Country Leather and a few other groups.
I am a founder of the Women's Leather History Project/Program. A charter board member and organizer of FireBalls MC. I am also a founder of LoL in NYC (women's educational/play weekend in NYC from 1994-1998 for 350+ women). A charter board member and founder of True Spirit Conference.
I have presented classes at conferences and clubs internationally. I have taught classes steadily and teach approximately 140+ hours a year. Between educating and coaching, I have five figures of hours teaching in my lifetime and will continue to be devoted to learning.
I am the recipient of Black Rose's Vaughn Keith National Educator Award presented November 2002, Pantheon of Leather Southeast Regional Award 2006, Pantheon Business of the Year 2006, Jack Stice Memorial Award 2016, 2017 MAsT-International Educator of the year award, and 2018 Lady Lynette Leadership Award.

Jack: Operations / Registration
I'm currently calling the Baltimore/DC area home. I am a member of FIST. I relocated to Baltimore from the Denver area. While in the Denver area I served as a long term facilitator of COLLAR. I was also fortunate enough to volunteer for Thunder in the Mountains dungeon build crew for many years. The last few years I was there I lead the design and build of what at the time was the largest dungeon west of the Mississippi, if not the country. I was a founding member of MAsT-Denver, and an active member of several different versions of the Labyrinth as well as the Sanctuary and other groups in the Rocky Mountain region. I have been a proud piercer at The Colorado Danse of Life, a traditional hook pull. I also enjoy teaching leather life skills such as bootblacking, piercing, etc.
When asked how I identify I usually say something along these lines... dyke, butch, gender fluid, poly, Papa/Daddy/Sir, switch and let's not forget boy for someone special! Oh, and tree hugger and wanna-be vegan would be fair labels too. But I am the ever evolving kind so hopefully there will be a few more to add soon.

Blacksmith: Virtual Workshop Chair / SELF Incident Assessment Team Coordinator
Blacksmith has been in the BDSM community for 15 years. Originally from California, he obtained most of his education there. He has had the opportunity to learn from and build relationships with some of the luminaries within the community. He continues his education by attending classes, conferences, and events as often as possible. Blacksmith maintains affiliations with MAsT Central Atlanta, Knights of the Lair de Sade, L.A.K.E.S. Much, Black Atlanta Munch, Lair de Sade, and 1763.
Lady Victoria: Fun Programming Chair
Lady Victoria (she/her) attended her first SELF in 2007 shortly after beginning her lifestyle and leather journey. She has always felt like SELF was her kinky home and is excited to be able to contribute to such an awesome event. She is currently living in Charlotte, NC and previously owned a public dungeon in Greenville, SC, The Warehouse, for three years and taught classes on various subjects there. She also teaches at local and regional events. Lady Victoria was honored to receive her Master’s cover at SELF in 2023. In addition to being the Fun Coordinator for SELF, she is a member of The House of Valor and on the Master’s Council. She identifies as a bi-sexual, dominant female. Brandi: Social Media Coordinator
Brandi (she/her) is a pansexual, polyamorous, primal, Latina switch from Columbia, South Carolina. She has been in the lifestyle since 2012 and has been attending events since 2013. She started out in the Columbia TNG group as well as T3WD. She found passion in the community and ultimately in a new chosen family. Her first SELF was in 2014 and she fell in love with the “family reunion”. She had never felt more seen or valued as when she walked through the doors to SELF for the first time. She got roped into the SELF volunteer world and was ecstatic to serve others and meet new people. She has now volunteered at 5 SELFs and will always return to her family!
After dealing with a near death experience in 2015, a barrage of mental health struggles and job stress, Brandi chose to take a brief time off from the lifestyle. Brief turned into 2 and a half years while she fought her demons, but she opened the door back in 2018. She was welcomed into the fold and told “Not to go anywhere again! We got you!”. Along this journey of self discovery, she found a passion for primal play and eventually realized primal was her to the core. Her leopard is her and she is her leopard. She also reconnected with an old friend who has been her Owner and protector for almost 3 years now. She proudly wears the collar and leash of HappyPuppy as his pet.
In her personal life, she lives in Columbia, SC with her four rescue cats! She tries to share love everywhere she goes and is in a people-facing job that does just that! It is never hard to find her because she either towers over everyone or her bell is jingling happily everywhere she bounces.
Cynthia: Volunteer Chair
Cynthia has been active in the BDSM community for over 10 years, previously leading Georgia’s G.H.O.S.T. and Atlanta Kinksters with Kids (AKK), facilitating P.R.I.M.E., and founding Greenville’s Pathfinders and s-type groups.
Currently she is the director of MAsT: Greenville SC, and a group leader of the Piedmont Area Kinksters (PAK). She has presented on Primal play and a variety of spiritual and service oriented topics. In 2014 she was honored with the gift of serving SouthEast LeatherFest as the Volunteer Coordinator, and was excited to join Twisting Culture in 2019.
Cynthia is passionate about theater and the arts, values creativity and responsibility, and lives and teaches by the L.I.S.T. philosophy. She can be found on FetLife as -Cynthia.
Master Ms Michelle: Supply Coordinator & Programming
Master Ms. Michelle Msingi’s commitment and experience shine as beacons in our community. With her extensive background as a classically trained covered Master, she brings over 15 impressive years of active participation, though she jests that kink has always been an integral part of her essence.
Master Michelle is not merely seasoned through time; she is shaped by dedication and education, being an esteemed graduate of the Master's program at MTTA (Master Taino's Training Academy, 2015). Her passion for structured growth and excellence in craft led her to co-found Solas House—a sanctuary dedicated to the high protocol training and pursuit of pleasure. At Phoenix House, her personal house, members find refuge and revival under her guidance—living proof that rebirth is possible within our walls.
A pillar within a close-knit community, Michelle was a founding figure in 757 Spectrum and a member of Amatorius, Virginia Ladies Tea and Admiration Society, MAsT Richmond, and Hampton Roads. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, she persevered as a co-host of the Orlando Leather and Kink Social while actively participating in As President of Onyx Pearls Deep South, her leadership resonates far beyond local gatherings—embodying the ideals of the Onyx Pearls on a national level.
But Master Michelle's identity transcends beyond the titles and accolades. As a feminist mother of four and grandmother to three precious souls, she embodies the possibility of harmonizing a kink-positive life with nurturing family values. A cancer survivor advocating fiercely for early detection, she exemplifies resilience. Her battle cry reminds us that strength comes with softness: "That’s Michelle with 2 L’s because there is a lot of hell in Master Michelle." Let's celebrate this remarkable individual who inspires all to embrace their truth while fostering caring communities around them.
Dawn: Co
ntest Chair and SIAT
Dawn (she/her/hers) is a middle-aged, leather-adjacent, kink ally with a heart for service. With over two decades of BDSM/Leather/Kink community involvement at the local, regional, and national levels, she is currently exploring where her leather journey will take her from here. She fondly refers to this discovery period as her “mid-leather-life crisis.” A former event producer, titleholder, and volunteer, Dawn is excited to, once again, be a part of SELF. In her spare time, Dawn enjoys being a new doodle mom, music, languages, and learning new things. You may recognize her but not her name; she used to go by the scene name “Elcca” but has recently begun to embrace the name that is more authentically her. Please say hello when you see her about!
Master Nwachi: SIGS + Spirituality/BIPOC/Advocacy/Leadership
Master Nwachi Tafari, Ed.D., Ph.D., C.S.C., C.W.C. (Master_Nwachi on FET Life).
Master Nwachi is a professional wellness Coach and sexology scholar. His focuses are the connection between holistic wellness and sexual health as well as aging well. He holds Master Life Coaching Certifications in Human Transformation, Spirituality, and Mindset from Transformation Academy; a Sexologist Certification from Sex Coach U; and Nutrition & Wellness Coaching Certifications from the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Moreover, he holds an Ed.D. in higher education & adult development and a Ph.D. in the human sciences with a research focus on BDSM spirituality and personal growth.
As it pertains to the BDSM community, Master Nwachi specializes in cultivating and harnessing erotic energy as a means promoting holistic wellbeing and erotic spirituality, particularly through the soulful path of Fetish Sexuality and BDSM.
Master Nwachi is a patched member of the SCIENCE of BDSM researchers, and he works with The Alternative Sexualities Health Research Alliance (TASHRA). Moreover, he is the researcher director for Sex Coach U (SCU.)
It is Master Nwachi’s hope to conduct research in Kink in order to help establish BDSM practice and fetishsexuality as a viable way to live one’s live socially and legally. All of Master Nwachi’s research and published work focuses on adult development, Kink, intersectionality, human sexuality, and human wellbeing.
Lastly, his greatest accomplishments are sharing the responsibility of rearing two daughters (now young women) De (Day) and Niani Tafari.
Boy Harley: Staging God
Boy harley has been lighting, building, loading in and out, and fixing sets, lights, special effects, and sound for theatre, corporate events, film and video, high school productions and even religious broadcasting. He has handled the staging for SELF since 1997, as well as managed the staging for SE Olympus a few times, and various other leather events.
Boy harley was trained in Old Guard at the Sanctuary of a Dark Angel in 1997 and took part in helping the Sanctuary run. Primarily a submissive bottom, boy harley has been known to switch on occasion. His interests are: bondage, leather, exhibitionism, mindplay, electricity, watersports, wax, and shaving (not necessarily in that order). He has only one piercing (left earlobe), but could see getting one or both nipples pierced, if done in the context of a scene.
